New Market Fire Department is 100% volunteer and provides the residents of New Market with prompt and professional fire, medical, and rescue services. Founded in 1973, the team of brave firefighters at New Market Fire Department is proud to serve the greater New Market area and its people. Our community is our priority and we aim to be an integral part of keeping you safe.  The fire suppression team is trained and certified through the Alabama Fire College & our EMTs are State and National Board Certified.

We are ready to handle any type of emergency situation. Our first-responders are trained to deal with fires, rescues, motor vehicle incidents, medical situations and more.  We are committed to our community and our primary goal to is protect and serve everyone and its property.  New Market Fire Department is 501(c)3 with an ISO Rating of 4/4x.
